Solidew

Solidew is quite a young Witch and very pretty on the outside. She always wears green and makes sure she looks perfect before she goes anywhere. She doesn’t actually speak very much, but when she does, her voice is different to the other Witches. Ollie the Cauldron always says it sounds like burnt toast being scraped, which makes Solidew very angry and she reacts by making unpleasant spells. Deep down she would love to be able to sing or play music and finds herself melting inside when she hears the mystical sounds of Snowah’s flute drifting across the landscape. Even when she is on her own, she won’t try to sing – just in case someone were to hear. She doesn’t realise that it shouldn’t matter whether you have a singing voice or not, you should do what makes your heart sing. Perhaps Solidew would benefit from sitting under the Blue Bwackhoe tree?
