Elrig

Elrig is quite an old Wizard, but nowhere near as old as Torreth! No-one quite knows when he arrived in Grazzlethorne, but no-one can remember him not being there either. What a kind and thoughtful Wizard he is and he is never happier when he is not entertaining families with exciting games and tasks to complete in the Magic Wood. All the younger Elves and Pixies adore him – maybe because he takes time to listen to them and offer calm, well thought out advice. They all know he won’t be critical if they make a decision that some might think is wrong. He just seems to have the ability to connect with other beings, no matter where they are from or what they do. Everyone looks forward to the invitations coming out for a ‘cook up’ in the Magic Wood and how he remembers everyone’s likes and dislikes is quite incredible. He did actually forget the much loved dandelion tea once and Vandrad and Tȏrmad have never let him forget it! Elrig is one of those wonderful Wizards who never complain or grumble about their own hardships or challenges, but much prefer to listen to what others are going through and help if they can.
